Instructor #4 - a very light beige gel with a glam effect and 80% coverage
INSTRUCTOR matches the standard Thixotropy line for adhesion, hardness and durability. What sets it apart is a particular kind of thixotropy, and the surface tension that comes with it, which lets you work on four nails at once. Even so, it self-levels enough to keep filing down. In short, this gel sits neatly between the consistency of the Thixotropy series and Gelatix.
Why is the gel called "Instructor" and made with instructors in mind?
Its particular thixotropic behaviour makes it easier for an instructor to work alongside trainees who are just starting out with nail styling. The gels are something of an instructor in their own right, too, as their engineered handling supports anyone in the early stages of learning to build with gel.
How does it make the work easier?
On a basic course, trainees often still struggle with fast self-levelling gels, while working with Gelatix can leave a lot to file back. This gel lets them work more slowly and precisely, without the risk of flooding the cuticles, and it also cuts the amount of filing at the finishing stage. It is a helping hand that takes the stress out of those first steps in nail styling.
